In my last post I was showing off some of my artwork and design, to let you get a feel for the kind of thing I do. And now, continuing in this vein, here are some costumes I’ve done over the last couple of years. I will add more as I get around to photographing them. As before, clicking on most images will take you to the page for that work on my deviantArt site.
Wearable arts entry for a small charity competition (I won the open section)
A commissioned piece, based on one of Mrs. Lovett's costumes from 'Sweeney Todd'
A costume I whipped up for a family friend's masquerade 21st Birthday party.
The same masquerade costume with tailcoat; hat; and mask on.
Felt Top-hat, made from nasty; cheep; synthetic 'felt'.
My first attempt at a leather hat. The Brim needed to be bigger to make it more piratical though.
A sort of 'voodoo' inspired leather top-hat.
Just a taste really, but still, hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for taking a look, Catch ya round 😀
